ATAI traces its roots to a facility opened in 1969 in the town of Charkop, Mumbai to service the Automotive Tractors Agricultural Implements; this was the birth of ATAI. Founded by the visionary Chandrakant Lakhani with a commitment to deliver quality products and exceptional service. Mr. Lakhani’s expertise and passion for innovation laid the foundation for our growth.
Later, Bharat Thakkar joined ATAI as a partner, bringing his financial acumen and dedication to optimizing costs through lean methodologies. Together, they have steered the company towards success, making ATAI a trusted and reliable partner for clients in the automotive sector.
Located in Daman, our manufacturing plant spans an expansive 20,000 sq ft. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, including up to 300-ton mechanical presses, double-action mechanical presses, perforation machines, and Hydraulic Presses with a maximum draw of 110mm, we have the capacity to cater to diverse production needs.
ATAI takes immense pride in its state-of-the-art tool room, situated in Vapi, covering 10,000 sq ft. This facility aids in the design and maintenance of dies for our presses, ensuring optimal efficiency and precision.
